Launch of the Media Fellowship on Occupational Health (MFOH)

We are excited to announce the Media Fellowship on Occupational Health (MFOH), a six-month program designed to empower journalists and media professionals across Africa to champion safer and healthier workplaces through impactful storytelling.

Through expert-led training, mentorship, and collaboration, fellows will learn to uncover and communicate the hidden health risks faced by workers from factories and farms to hospitals and mines. Working in teams, participants will co-create powerful media pieces that highlight:

  • Women’s health in the workplace
  • The wellbeing of healthcare workers
  • Occupational safety in the mining sector

The MFOH is building a continent-wide network of informed media voices driving awareness, advocacy, and action toward a healthier, more prosperous Africa — where every worker’s safety and wellbeing matter.

Fellowship Benefits:

  •  A Certificate of Completion upon successful completion of the fellowship.
  • Access to a strong regional and international network of professionals in media, journalism, filmmaking, and occupational health.
